Raymond Huger, M.D. is the co-founder of Expect A Miracle...Now, Foundation (formerly First Light Huger Foundation) and serves on the Board of Trustees. Dr. Huger is a retired psychiatrist who spent over 50 years in practice at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Huger has served on the Board of Directors of the Malta Center, the Frances Moynihan Huger Foundation and First Light Huger Foundation.

Karmen T. Dopslaff is President and co-founder of Expect A Miracle...Now, Foundation, (formerly First Light Huger Foundation.) Karmen has been active in hospice care since 1986, and has served on the Board of Directors of Shanti, the Malta Center, The Frances Moynihan Huger Foundation and Esperanca. Out of a growing need for people in service to find renewal, Karmen created the Awakening seminar in 1995. In 1997, Karmen helped lead the Universal Experience in Switzerland for the Swiss AIDS Help Organization. Karmen is internationally respected for her compassion and insight for those experiencing loss, grief, death, and dying. In 2002, Karmen responded to an appeal made by the Arizona Department of Corrections (ADOC) to facilitate the Awakening seminar. Thirteen groups of inmates have now graduated.

Karmen and Dr. Huger have been friends and business partners for more than 20 years.

Dr. Ulrich Dopslaff is with the Ministry of Justice of Brandenburg in Germany.
Dr. Dopslaff serves as Vice President on the Board of Director’s of Expect A Miracle...Now, Foundation. He assists with the Awakening seminar in the Arizona Department of Corrections for both men and women’s groups.  Dr. Dopslaff is an Attorney at Law, holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology and a Doctorate in Philosophy. He is the author of ‘The Interpretation of Law’. He is presently in charge of developing and structuring programs for the resocialization of inmates for the State of Brandenburg in Germany and will relocate to the United States in July, 2005.
